Free Jack Skellington Stencil Printable

Free Jack Skellington Stencil Printable – A Jack Skellington stencil free printable is a black-and-white face pattern of the Pumpkin King from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Print it on US letter paper, tape it to a pumpkin or craft surface, and trace or carve along the lines. The useful versions are the large hollow eyes, small nose slits, and the wide stitched smile that make Jack recognizable from the sidewalk.

Official Disney templates and a few hobby sites still offer these patterns at no charge for personal Halloween projects. Paid Etsy files and reusable plastic stencils are a separate product. This page only points to places where the download itself is free.

How to Print and Use the Stencil?

Print at 100 percent scale, or “actual size,” on 8.5 by 11 inch paper. If the printer is set to “fit to page,” the eyes and teeth shrink and the face looks cramped on a medium pumpkin.

A medium to large carving pumpkin, about 10 to 14 inches tall, fits a standard Jack face. Smaller craft pumpkins work better for a simple painted version.

Cut the lid, scoop the pumpkin, and wipe the carving area dry. Tape the stencil on the smoothest side. Poke pinholes along every line, closer together on the stitched mouth. Remove the paper and carve from the center out, starting with the nose and eye sockets. Disney’s instruction page recommends the same center-out order and a toothpick repair if a piece breaks.

A battery tea light is the safer glow for a porch in the U.S. A real candle needs a vent hole and should be blown out before you leave the house or go to sleep.

The same printable works as a paint template. Tape it to a faux pumpkin, trace with a pencil, and fill the eyes and mouth with black acrylic. That avoids knives and lasts longer than a carved jack-o’-lantern.

What to Check Before You Download?

Jack Skellington and The Nightmare Before Christmas are Disney properties. Official PDFs above are free to download for home carving. Fan-made printables on hobby blogs are generally limited to personal use. Do not sell the file, print it on products for sale, or upload it to another site.

Skip pages that only show a blurred preview and then charge for the PDF. Those are not free printables. Reusable mylar stencils on marketplaces are physical products and are also not free.

If a page asks for an email, read whether the file itself is free. Homemade Heather and The Benson Street both deliver the stencil at no charge after signup. You do not need an email for the two Disney PDFs.

FAQ

Is there an official free Jack Skellington stencil?

Yes. Disney published a Jack Skellington pumpkin carving template PDF, and ShopDisney’s Magic Moments pack also includes a Jack page. Both are marked © Disney and download without payment.

What size pumpkin works best?

A 10- to 14-inch pumpkin fits a letter-size face stencil without cutting off the smile. Print a test on scrap paper and hold it against the pumpkin before you tape it down.

Can I use the stencil for painting instead of carving?

Yes. Trace the eyes, nose, and stitched mouth onto a craft pumpkin and paint them black. That is the easier option for kids and for decorations you want to keep past Halloween.

Are these files free for selling crafts?

No. The Disney sheets are copyrighted character templates for personal carving. Blog printables linked here state personal or classroom use only. Selling vinyl decals or printed goods from these files needs a separate license.
